As a Floral Design Associate, you will play a key role in crafting beautiful arrangements for various occasions, from everyday moments to grand events. This role is perfect for someone passionate about floral design and eager to contribute to a vibrant and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, including everyday celebrations, weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Engage with customers both in-store and over the phone, helping them select the perfect floral designs and providing exceptional service with every interaction.
- Utilize our point-of-sale and design management software to process orders and manage inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Capture images of your designs using a smartphone, showcasing your work for our customers and for marketing.
- Assist with the care and handling of flowers and participate in other tasks needed to maintain the smooth operation of the Floral Design Center and stores.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in floral design is essential, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your creativity and technical skills.
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with a focus on creating professional and positive customer experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using basic technology and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs unassisted, and work extended hours when necessary.
- A valid Nevada driver's license, a clean DMV report, and the ability to pass a drug test.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
