Our Story: Rooted in Northern Nevada, Blossoming for Generations

Sparks Florist® began in 1960 with a simple idea - flowers have the power to express what words cannot. Founded by Tony Fiannaca and his close friend Frank Foote, the first shop opened on B Street in Sparks, quickly becoming a local staple.

As Northern Nevada grew, so did we. By 1972, we relocated to the iconic Pyramid Tower, expanded into Reno in 1987, and later opened our 10,000-square-foot Floral Design Center to better serve our customers. But through all this growth, one thing remained unchanged - our commitment to family, community, and creating meaningful floral experiences.

Now in our third generation of family leadership, Tony’s children and grandchildren continue his legacy, carrying forward the same passion and belief that flowers are gestures of love, gratitude, and connection.

Today, as the third generation of Fiannacas leads Sparks Florist®, that tradition continues with the same commitment to excellence and care.
