Position Overview

As a Logistics Specialist I, you are the starting point for our delivery and operations team. You are the "Final Touch" ensuring that beautiful work created by our design team reaches its destination safely, promptly, and with a smile. This role focuses on independent reliability on the road and basic facility care in the design center, serving as the critical link between our floral art and our customers' hands. 

Note: We train from the roots up! Whether your goal is to grow into a logistics leader or cross-train as a Floral Design Assistant on your way to becoming a Floral Sales & Design Associate, this role serves as the perfect foundation for your future with us.

Key Responsibilities

• The Final Touch (Craftsmanship): Safely transport delicate floral arrangements, ensuring they arrive in the same pristine condition they left the design table. 
• Digital Operations & Routing: Proficiently navigate navigation apps and our Point-of-Sale (POS) system. You will follow standard routing procedures and update order statuses in real-time.
• Exceptional Service (Heartfelt Connection): Communicate effectively, professionally, and warmly with customers, ensuring every delivery feels special.
• Basic Facility Support (Unifying Trust): Assist with basic end-of-day facility care, including sweeping floors, taking out trash, and organizing the loading areas to set the team up for success the next day.
• Fleet Maintenance (Empowered Ownership: Keep your assigned delivery vehicle clean inside and out) and report any basic maintenance needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical: Proficient with basic technology and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Requirements: Valid Nevada driver's license, clean DMV report, and ability to pass a drug test.
• Age & Legal Requirements: You must be 21 years of age and will be required to obtain a Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Safety Sensitive Position: Due to the use of heavy-duty floral blades, delivery vehicles, and lifting requirements, this is classified as a safety-sensitive position. 
• Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs unassisted, get in and out of a delivery van repeatedly, and work flexible/extended hours including weekends, holidays and overtime especially during peak floral seasons (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.).

Compensation

Pay from $14.00 per hour
