When a student earns a seat in the Reno Phil Youth Symphony Orchestra, they commit to the highest level of musical excellence in Northern Nevada. This year, that relentless practice paid off with an invitation to represent our region at the New England Conservatory.
This trip isn't an optional joyride—it’s a required capstone experience. However, flying an entire symphony across the country is a monumental undertaking. The full cost of the Boston Tour is $2,385 per student before fundraising. We refuse to let this financial burden fall squarely on the parents. Our goal is to reduce the final out-of-pocket cost for these families by up to 50% through community support.
